
Cheryl N. Wright has been a part of MCU's Supervisory Committee since 2004, and an MCU member for 37 years. Ms. Wright, who received her Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Brooklyn College and her Masters Degree in Urban Studies from Queens College, has served New York City in varying capacities while employed with the New York City Human Resource Administration. Ms. Wright has been a Deputy Director for both the Fair Hearing Compliance Unit and the Food Stamp Program in Jamaica, NY. Ms. Wright is currently an Office Manger for the Division of Fair Hearing Administration. Cheryl has acquired the CFE and CAMS Certification and will continue increasing her knowledge. A resident of Brooklyn, Ms. Wright is a member of the NAACP, the Grand Secretary of the Masonic Order, a Spirealist and a progressive performing poet... Ms. Wright is also Head Lector at her local parish, St. Teresa of Avila Roman Catholic Church. It has been the unconditional love and support from her family, life partner and the inspiration from the Supervisory Committee that makes her commitment and dedication steadfast and unyielding.
