MCU Proud Sponsor of 2010 Puerto Rican Day Parade
New York City became filled with the sights and sounds of its vast Puerto Rican Community from June 10th-13th. Between Tropical Night at the South Street Seaport on June 10th, the Puerto Rican Festival on June 12th, and the Puerto Rican Day Parade on June 13th, the streets of New York felt like part of San Juan. And MCU was proud to play a part in the great display of pride by New York's Puerto Rican Community throughout the event.
MCU joined the Daily News as sponsors for Tropical Night, the Puerto Rican Festival, and also was a part sponsor of the Daily News parade float on Parade Day. MCU Business Development and Mortgage representatives were also on hand at the Puerto Rican Festival, meeting with members of the New York Puerto Rican community, and showing them not only how MCU supports their community, but how MCU can help them achieve their financial goals.
"On this festive occasion, MCU joined the Puerto Rican community as it celebrated its culture and heritage. It was a beautiful day that allowed millions of New Yorkers to celebrate the Puerto Rican culture. We look forward to participating in this wonderful event for years to come." said Ken Currey, VP of Business Development at MCU.
