MCU Park became the backdrop for an important fundraiser held by the Department of Sanitation.  Its purpose was to create a scholarship fund for the children of sanitation workers who died in the line of duty.  Appropriately enough, they chose DSNY Night at MCU Park to launch this very worthwhile endeavor, and MCU was glad to help them with a $5,000 donation presented on the field right before the game.
