Credit Sales Officer
Primary Job Function
Communicates loan decisions to members and arranges immediate payout.
Schedules loan closing.
Verify accuracy of application information.
Compile documents needed for loan proceed disbursement.
Provide (Identifies/Creates) cross sell opportunities.
Responsibilities
Provide high level of customer service when responding to members as well as internal departments.
Communicate lending decision post loan approval and explains required documentation needed for payout.
Analyze loans to determine repayment and interest schedules based upon loan guidelines and rates and communicate them to member.
Maintain lending volumes in accordance with departmental goals.
High call volume environment.
Obtain and verify accuracy of all required closing documentation.
Coordinate loan closings.
Maintain loan closing schedule.
Follow up on sales leads.
Cross Sell Credit Insurance.
Identify and cross sell additional credit union products.
Understand how to read credit reports and answer questions to educate members.
Perform hard close on credit re-builder and marginal loans.
Provide accurate information about credit union policies, procedures, and services.
Recommend changes to improve workflow, efficiencies, and quality.
Communicate loan volumes daily to manager.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
College degree preferred.
Two (2) years plus of loan closing and cross sell experience.
Excellent organization skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Familiar with state and federal regulation concerning lending.
Experience using PC based software including Microsoft Office Applications.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work overtime and Saturday hours.
Good mathematics skills.
Ability to perform in a high volume environment.
