Branch Positions: Oceanside NY
Ensure overall security and safety within the branch. Ensure the protection of membership, staff and
funds maintained on premises. Direct members with inquiries to appropriate service area as needed.
Maintain control of banking floor. High school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year as a security guard,
preferably in a bank setting. Ability to communicate well. Act in an assertive, yet courteous manner.
Must possess NYS Security License plus 8 or 16 Hour Class Certificate.
Performs all daily Teller functions.
Assists with the overall teller operations as directed by Operations Supervisor.
Support the teller operations administrative functions as necessary.
Assist with the scheduling of work hours and break times when necessary.
Assist in maintaining the supply inventory.
Assist with the daily branch proof and preparation of the Branch recap sheet.
Assist with resolution of teller transaction related problems.
Accurately process debts and credits of all transactions to member accounts.
Prepare checks for empire pick-up.
Provides overrides and second counts.
Handles return items and check verification.
Processes transfers between account and vaults.
Responsible for complex transactions.
Balance cash drawer daily.
Prepare teller recap proof sheet and report any cash difference to the Operations Supervisor.
Assist with monthly/weekly Surprise Teller Cash Counts.
Cross-sell MCU products and services.
Responsibility of proof and reconcilement of ATM's.
Provide mentoring to new hire teller staff as needed.
Comply with BSA and SAR requirements.
Rotation to other branches as needed.
Other duties and overtime work as required.
High School Diploma, some college desirable.
Minimum three (3) years teller experience.
Extensive knowledge of teller functions, branch operations, and policy and procedure.
Strong listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical, organizational and accuracy skills
Proficiency in Microsoft for Windows Applications.
