Municipal Credit Union is a financial institution serving members since 1916. We are a member-owned, not-for-profit company so our earnings goes back to members in the form of more favorable rates, fewer and lower fees for products and services.

Like all Credit Unions, MCU is cooperatively owned by all of its members. Only members can serve on the board of directors and supervisory committee, or vote in annual elections.

MCU is a stable, full service financial institution. Member savings accounts are federally insured up to $250,000 and IRA accounts are separately insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA (National Credit Union Administration), a US Government Agency.
