and to reduce the incidence of fraud and identity theft, Federal Law -- pursuant to the USA
PATRIOT Act -- requires that all financial institutions obtain, verify, and retain information that
identifies each person opening a new account or establishing another account relationship with the
same institution.
How will these new regulations affect you? When you open an account or sub-account at MCU, we will ask for your name,
address, date of birth, social security number and other information that will enable us to identify you.
We will also ask to see your driver's license and/or other identifying documents.
