Immediate family members of an MCU member, or of a person who is directly eligible for membership at MCU, can join MCU without having to be sponsored. Immediate family members include, but are not limited to: the spouse, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, and siblings of a person who is a member or who is directly eligible for membership at MCU. A person who lives in the same residence, as a single economic unit, with an MCU member or a person who is directly eligible for membership at MCU is also considered an immediate family member. In order for immediate family members to open an MCU account, they would need your name, your relationship to them, and the name of your employer.
