Members are reporting receiving a fraudulent email message that informs the "bank account holder" that a recent
ACH transaction initiated from their bank account was rejected by the Electronic Payments Association.
It contains a link and instructs the person who received the message to click on the link to "review the
transaction". This email message is an Identity Theft scam. The sender is attempting to obtain personally
identifiable information and credit union account access information.
MCU will never send you an email message and ask you confirm or cancel a password reset request. Never click
on links in e-mail messages that ask you to provide or verify your personal account information.
Do not respond to unsolicited text messages, email messages or telephone calls that ask for any account
information or other private information. MCU will never contact you by email, text message or phone call
to ask you to update or verify your account information. If you think your MCU accounts have been compromised,
report it to our Fraud Department by filling out and submitting a
