Jim Mill is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in driving innovation and operational excellence in the financial services industry. As MCU’s Chief Technology Officer, James brings a wealth of knowledge in aligning technology strategies with business goals to encourage growth and improve customer experiences. In the course of his career, he has led transformative initiatives that have fundamentally enhanced IT security, streamlined operations, and establish cutting-edge digital platforms. He has a proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and advance organizations’ technology vision.

Jim came to MCU from S&T Bancorp, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Technology Officer, overseeing all banking operations and technology functions for a $9 billion financial institution. He successfully transitioned the bank's IT operations to third-party managed services, advocated for and implemented digital transformation strategies, and led the integration of several major acquisitions.

His background includes a distinguished military career in the U.S. Navy as a Public Affairs Officer, where he developed strong leadership and strategic communication skills. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration in Financial Services Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. James also serves New York City as a board member of the MCU Foundation.
