Kelly Gerber
Chief Risk Officer
Kelly Gerber is MCU’s Chief Risk Officer, where she has responsibilities over Enterprise Risk Management, Vendor Management, Financial Crimes & Intelligence, BSA/AML, Information Security, Quality Control & Quality Assurance, Business Continuity Planning, and Incident Response.
Kelly came to MCU from Republic Bank in Philadelphia, where she served as SVP, Acting Chief Risk Officer. At Republic, she implemented a more mature enterprise risk management program, and partnered with Executive Management to develop the bank’s 3-year strategic plan while ensuring the bank’s continued compliance with consumer banking laws, rules, and regulations. She also managed all Compliance, Risk Management, Fair and Responsible Banking, Community Reinvestment, Information Security, BSA and AML, Fraud and Security, and Loan Review teams, as well as leading various strategic projects to enhance efficiencies, mitigate elevated levels of risk, and improve operational processes. Prior to Republic, Kelly served as VP of Compliance at Huntingdon Valley Bank and previously held various positions of increasing responsibility within Risk Management at Beneficial Bank.
Kelly earned an undergraduate degree in sociology at Rutgers University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and is a graduate of the Rutgers University School of Law.
Kelly is proud to be a Director of the MCU Foundation Board of Directors.
