How do I manage my debit card controls now that the NYMCU MyCard app is no longer available?
Debit Card Alerts and Controls is a new feature within online and mobile banking and will offer additional alerts and controls that you can utilize to help manage card usage. You should now log in and choose Services & Support Card Management hover over debit card and select Manage Card Alerts and Controls.
What if I never used the NYMCU MyCard app to set controls on my debit card?
If I have already contacted MCU about my debit card controls in the NYMCU MyCard app, are there any other steps I need to take?
My debit card is blocked, but online banking shows that it is not. What is the actual status of the block?
If your card was blocked through the NYMCU MyCard app, the block is still in place even if online banking doesn’t reflect it.
How do I make changes to the card I blocked through the NYMCU MyCard app?
If you would like to update or remove the block, please contact us at 1-844-628-6969.
What if I add a control in online or mobile banking, such as blocking online purchases, and I already have existing controls in place that I added in the NYMCU MyCard app?
If you add new controls through online and mobile banking, they will be effective immediately. If your card has existing controls set up through the NYMCU MyCard app, they remain active even if they do not appear in online banking.
